Something to Watch - Strange Darling
Some films are entertainment. And some are submission. To watch Strange Darling is to submit. You are not control, and you don’t have any idea what’s happening, but filmmaker J.T. Mollner does.
Strange Darling is a trip and it’s honestly for everyone. I mean not kids or anything but people older than that. Don’t be turned off by any descriptions that it’s a horror film, it’s a thriller, and a totally new version of it. Plus, it’s Halloween, so get in the spirit.
In an effort to maintain how awesome it is to watch this with no knowledge going into it, we’re just gonna give you the logline and thats it - Nothing is what it seems when a twisted one night stand spirals into a serial killers vicious murder spree. That's all you get. Alright we’ll also mention that it is unlike anything you’ve ever seen. And shot on 35mm? Go off film nerds. Now, completely contradicting what we just said, as always, we are going to include the trailer because of a rich history of tradition here. But don’t click it. Just watch the movie.
