You Made It.

Welcome to the first ever Morning Face. You might be wondering how you ended up here. Easy enough, I have either emailed you at some point in the past or I recently asked for your email and didn’t tell you why. Surprise. This is why. Morning Face is an early bite of all the things I wish I had to start my day - a quote, a workout, maybe something to watch or listen to, and whatever other random things people find interesting, all before your ugly morning face wears off. I wanted to start this cleanly on a Monday, but after a long Memorial Day Weekend, morning faces are at an all-time high, so there’s never been a better time to get into it. With that being said, I have no idea if you will, but I do hope you enjoy.

Workout - Chest & Tri

  • Cable Flys - 3x12

  • Incline Smith Machine Bench Press - 3x8

  • Incline Dumbbell Close Grip Chest Press - 3x8 (hold them together with hammer grip and flex at the top) 

  • Flat Dumbbell Bench Press - 1x10, 1x8, 1x6 (increasing weigh 10 pounds each set)

  • Bodyweight Dips Superset w Pushups - 3x10/15

  • Single Arm Rope Pull Down - 3x10 (each arm)

  • Overhead Dumbbell Extensions - 3x12

  • Ab Finisher // Single Arm Cable Oblique Twists - 3x15 (each side)

Something to Watch

Shane Gillis is slinging tires in his new Netflix show called, Tires. It feels like Netflix said, “if you can make a tv series for less than $20 we’ll green light anything you want.” It’s perfectly brainless for the 6, 23-minute episodes that are out so far and they already gave the go-ahead for a second season. It’s definitely not The Office, but it is an excuse to have something different on in the background, laugh occasionally and hear people say “hoagie.”
