AMRAP? AM-rap?

Before we jump into business as usual, we have some things to take care of. Actually just one thing. It’s time to give love to those who rose to the occasion by completing last week’s Morning Face workout - the first ever EMOM. We said we’d only mention the first 3 people to complete it, but given the responses we got from the community, we’re expanding it. Great job everyone. Keep it up.

Workout - 🚨AMRAP🚨

EMOM has a friend in town, and her name is AMRAP. This one is another fitness challenge that’s marrying strength training with cardio. It stands for As Many Reps As Possible, so the goal here is to do as many reps as you can in the allotted time. Do Block 1 first on repeat as many reps as you can for 6 minutes. Quick break, then start Block 2 for another 6 minutes. Quick break, and do 1 more round for 5 minutes instead of 6. Happy amraping.

  • Block 1

    • 6 DB Clean and Presses

    • 12 Plank Taps

    • 6 Burpees

    • 12 Toes to Bar

  • Block 2

    • 6 Renegade Rows with Pushups

    • 6 Thrusters

    • 6 Burpees

    • 6 Standing Rows

  • Cardio Finisher

    • 2 Mile Run

Something to Watch - Saturday Night

There are so many excuses to go to the movies right now. Here’s another one. Saturday Night is finally out and it is having a moment. With an insane ensemble that has big names, no names and so many that guys, there’s finally a film out there that tackles the making of the legendary show, Saturday Night Live.

Simply enough - it’s the 90 minutes leading up to the first ever broadcast of SNL. It’s funny, tense, dramatic and everything in between. Plus, it’s written and directed by the same man who brought us Juno, Up in the Air, and Thank You for Smoking. If you don’t have an AMC A-List pass yet, you might want to consider it. Movie season is upon us, and it’s going to be awesome.

Daily Challenge

What’s something you’ve been thinking of doing but have been too scared to go for it? Think about it, and find a way to do it.
